For Adair Paterno, her passion for beer is equal parts dedication to her craft and a love for bringing people together. Her brewery, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, is 100% women-owned, and is recognized internationally for the care and craftsmanship put into their beers. Highly inspired by Belgian tradition with elements of brewers across the globe, Adair believes great beer comes first. In addition, the flagship shop, she also owns two other breweries in Santa Cruz and Oakland. Beyond her work at the brewery, Adair is a longtime volunteer at her local animal shelter and enjoys spending time outside with two pups of her own.
