Growing up in northern New Jersey, Brad learned to respect ingredients from the many hunting and fishing trips he took with his dad, and it’s where he fell in love with food as a universal language.  

Professionally, Brad is a chef with a hard-earned and well-deserved following, beloved by millions for his gregarious personality and creative approach to food. But Brad is also an avid outdoorsman, skilled carpenter, fermentation addict, entrepreneur, author, and — a bonafide Swiss army knife. 

He now lives in Connecticut with his wife and two kids, exploring the woods, and fermenting anything he can find.
