Zoe Hart
Chamonix, France
Zoe Hart’s interest in the mountains began with a month-long NOLS course on the glaciers of the North Cascades of Washington the summer after her sophomore year in college. Today, she is an accomplished mountaineer, having earned her International Mountain Guide certification (and the 4th woman to have done so). And although she was born and raised on the East Coast, Chamonix has been home for over 20 years. When she’s not ski mountaineering, alpine climbing, rock climbing or guiding, she is adventuring with her two sons, kite-surfing, skateboarding, or reading. Zoe is an all-around outdoorswoman, leader, environmental advocate, and mother, who takes “doing it all” to new heights.
Notable Career Accomplishments:

- First ascent of Cracker Pterodactyl 5000 (VI 5.10+, 900 m) on Jebel Misht in Oman
