When talking about snowboarder Nicholas Wolken, you’d be remiss to leave out his other numerous titles: psychologist, activist, and co-founder. A true pioneer in the snowboarding world, Nicholas’s formative years living on a mountain in Switzerland gave him a front row seat to the sport. Although he started out in racing, he shifted his focus to freestyle and freeriding, all the while remaining in tune with the symbiotic relationship between nature and snowboarding. Today, he’s focused on the art of the turn, creating snowboards that lean on eco-psychology and draw inspiration from the mountain community at large.

KORUA SHAPES

Inspired by Japan’s thriving snow and surf culture, Korua Shapes is the culmination of a group of snowboarding friends’ desire to make boards that spoke to individual riding styles. Every board is made with an innovative shape design that lets you pass through powder or carve on hard groomers.
