Mia Farley is YETI’s first Equestrian Ambassador — and for good reason. At age 3, Mia Farley was already on the back of a horse. At 6, she was taking riding lessons, and by 7, she was competing as a three-day eventer. Her love for the sport started young and hasn’t faltered over the last decade and a half. If anything, it's only gotten stronger. Under the training of Olympians David and Karen O’Connor, Mia has positioned herself as one to watch, earning a spot on USEF’s Developing Rider List and becoming a 5-star rider. Considering 5-star ranked competitions are the most difficult in the industry, making it through and placing in her first ones ever is a pretty big deal. But with all her success, the young 20-something remains gritty and humble, with her care-free charisma making her easy to root for.

HER MARYLAND 5-STAR DEBUT
Reaching the 5-star level in three-day eventing is no easy task. But in October of 2023, Mia and her horse Phelps made their debut, and rounded out the weekend with a strong fifth place finish — an impressive (and emotional) feat for the duo.
