While Jess Kimura is acclaimed for her skill in boardercross, slopestyle, and half pipe, she’s most well known for her urban riding and for quite often landing what the guys can’t in the street. Alongside being an award winner multiple times over, Jess is also an accomplished filmmaker, creating and producing not one but three all-women snowboarding films. But Jess’s highs haven’t been without some devastating lows, her journey is marked by grief, a battle with mental health, and various injuries. Yet, she continues to pour all 5 feet of her being into every effort, giving her all to the sport and acting as a mentor to younger riders.
