His barbecue has earned many accolades, including spots on top barbecue lists, and local and national notoriety. And most recently, in 2024, LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue was named a James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef in Texas, and earned one of Michelin’s first stars ever awarded in the Barbecue Industry.
