Do not use Straw Lid or Straw Cap with hot beverages.
Is YETI straw drinkware dishwasher safe?
Yes. We recommend lids on the top rack, and gaskets in the utensil's basket. Of course, you can always hand wash, but we know you're busy on your next adventure.
Are they leakproof?

How do I clean and maintain straws, lids, and caps?
Fully disassemble after hard use, scrub with warm dish soap, rinse, and dry completely. Pop out gaskets and the Straw Lid’s stopper, brush the straw inside and out, and top‑rack parts in the dishwasher when you can. A periodic deep clean keeps flow smooth, kills funk, and preserves seal integrity. Expert Tip: Cut a straw’s bottom at a 45° angle so it won’t suction to the base on low ice.
