When Nadine Wallner falls down, she always gets back up. Even when that fall is a 250 meter drop that fractured her tibia and fibula. When her road to recovery veered away from the slopes, she found herself going for a new venture — climbing. Quickly advancing to guide level skills, she became the first one to complete the Vertical Jungfrau Marathon (in one day). And her return to skiing is marked by just as much triumph when she became the third person to ski the east face of the Matterhorn. To Nadine, obstacles and setbacks are just opportunities for growth, and it's this adaptability that makes her a force to reckon with on and off the mountain.
