WHY BELT BUCKLES?

Dating back to the 1920s, championship belt buckles have been given to rodeo winners in lieu of trophies — a symbol of their hard work and grit. So, this Mother’s Day, what better way to celebrate the champion of our lives than with a handmade belt buckle. Each buckle was made by a world-class silversmith, whose designs were inspired by the mothers in their lives.

THE BUCKLES

PATIENT AND PROTECTIVE

Capron was inspired to join the world of silversmiths by his father. His belt buckle includes the yellow flower of the prickly pear cactus, which Native Americans used to symbolize motherhood. 

GROWING LOVE

Clint Orms is a world-renowned silversmith who grew up competing in rodeo. His belt buckle is a reflection of a Mother’s always growing love and with it, ability to shoot for the stars.

HEART OF A CHAMPION 

BY TANNER CROW

Tanner Crow honed his craft through the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association with a focus on buckles, jewelry, and pocket knives. His belt buckle nods to his mom’s heart of gold, which he says is as big as Texas.


WHOA MOMMA

BY BEAU COMPTON 

Born and raised in rodeo, Compton started silverwork in 1997. He is a proud member of the Traditional Cowboy Art Association and currently resides in Arizona.
