The Roadie® 24 Hard Cooler is a fresh take on a tried-and-true YETI favorite. It’s 10% lighter weight, holds 20% more, and even performs 30% better thermally than its legendary predecessor. Plus, we built it tall enough to accommodate critical bottles of wine but slim enough to squeeze behind the driver’s or passenger’s seat of a car. Now that’s what we call a road trip buddy. And hey, this guy is compatible with our Tie-Down kit, which means you can also transport this cooler on your boat, truck bed, or trailer —no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Day Trip Ready!!! Perfect cooler for day trips. The size is a perfect extra seat. I owned the roadie 20 very happy with the upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeping it Cool! Great little cooler for everyday use. Was looking for a cooler for the truck or car for weekend adventures. This cooler was exactly what I was looked for. Small enough profile for the vehicles but big enough for a variety of beverages. Keeps those beverages cold for days in 90 degree weather. Thanks Yeti for keeping it cool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roadie 24 Still a bit heavy when I have all of my lunch items in it. But otherwise a great cooler and seat at the job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good but could be better I like the cooler itself but the screws came out of the latches. I found one of them but lost the other some where so I can only latch one side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid cooler with a couple of shortcomings Great dimensions allows for more capability and better fit in vehicles. Negatives - no drain plug; strap should have been either 2 - 3 inches longer or been adjustable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Road Buddy I'm so glad I waited because I've been eying the Roadie 20. This Roadie 24 gives me that extra needed space I've been looking for in a compact cooler. I can sit 2L Soda and Jack Daniel's Bottle packed with tons of Ice, and we're ready to party! The ice coldness lasts just as long as the Yeti 65!!! I bought the Charcoal color and it's amazing and looks great! I've filled this up with the Yeti Ice Block perfectly fitted on the bottom and extra ice in a ziplock, drove from Florida to Ohio...long road trip and we had ICE COLD Drinks the whole trip. Beats stopping inside dirty gas stations catching COVID-19. I didn't have any complaints, not a struggle with the design at all. Amazing little Road buddy. Solidly Built!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Roadie 24 Hard Cooler My wife and I own several Yeti hard coolers, bag coolers, wine tumblers, 20 oz. tumblers, 32 oz. tumblers, regular colster generation 1 and 2, and the slim colster and quite honestly the Roadie 24 just doesn’t keep anything cold for longer than a few hours. This was a replacement for our Hopper 30 bag cooler, which the zipper broke on. Still big fans of Yeti, but this cooler isn’t great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed. Not as good as our other Yeti We own the 45L cooler for about 4 years now and have taken it all over the country and loved it. We purchased the Roadie 24 for a two week trip through Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Mt. Rushmore to have an additional cooler that we could easily grab for picnic lunches each day and use our 45 as a fridge to keep things cooler for longer. After enjoying the usefulness of the 45 so much we were disappointed in the 24 for several reasons. First, the baskets that fit the 45 do not fit the 24. It is just a big hole. When the ice starts to melt (and it did quickly) all of the items quickly became submerged in water. The second thing that we disliked was that the cooler is just bulky enough that you cannot carry it very easily. With ice in it the Roadie becomes to heavy to carry more than a few feet by the handle, there are not side handles so two people cannot carry it to split the weight, and the plastic handle has a slit down the middle of it and I kept finding it almost completely off the nylon strap when I pulled it out of the truck. I am sure that I’m going to lose it at some point. Another thing that we disliked were the new latches. While they are very easy to use, they do not appear near proof like the old rubber ones and as the trip progressed they seem to get looser and looser. I’m afraid that they will not seal after awhile. The next thing that I disliked is that it doesn’t seem to keep ice frozen. Before we left, I filled it with ice overnight to chill the inside. The next morning half of it was melted but I attributed that to the cooler not being cold first. I filled it with drinks and ice again right before we left and 8 hours later when we arrived at our destination the cooler was again half full of ice. It was the same every day no matter if we kept it closed all day or opened it up once or twice to access food. We ended up only carrying drinks in the Roadie because the cold water kept them cold and didn’t ruin anything. This brings me to my last complaint. There isn’t a drain plug. I knew this before buying it but didn’t really think about it as our other Yeti cooler kept ice solid for so long. When you want to drain the water but keep the ice that left still in the cooler you have to do a circus act to try and strain the water out of the cooler. On the positive side, the cooler seems sturdy and well built, it holds a lot for it’s size, and it makes a great seat.
