You might be wondering

What situations is this backpack best for?

This bag is the tiny-but-mighty daily companion. Whether you’re hustling to work, exploring around town, or hitting your favorite coffee shop, this is your best bud.

Is this bag insulated?

Unlike our coolers, this bag is not insulated. But if you’re looking for a cooler, our hard and soft coolers are over-engineered, tough as nails ice chests, designed to own everything from a day at the lake to days off the grid.

What's the best way to clean my bag?

Whether it’s dirt, sunscreen, or a rogue drop of barbecue sauce, Tuffskin Nylon can take whatever your adventures throw at it. Although the material is not 100% stain-proof, dish soap and a damp washcloth can usually get the bag clean again.

Is this an adventure pack?

Our Crossroads Bag Collection, like everything we make, lives for adventure. But if you’re looking for something that can handle Class V rapids and be dragged through rivers and mudslides, you’ll want to consider the Panga Collection with 100% Waterproof Protection.

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Crossroads 22L Backpack is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great materials, looks awesome, missing features To preface, I love backpacks. I worked at as a backpack fitter and own or have owned a lot of backpacks, bags, duffels, etc. from (at least) every brand you can find at major outdoor retailers. I have not been this excited and disappointed by a new bag in a long time. I bought the Crossroads 22L along with the 27L and seeing how vastly different the features are between each bag, it’s surprising that the two are part of the same product line. I can see no reason why the ubiquitous and very useful front pocket (which is present in the 27L) was not implemented in the 22L. With this one addition, Yeti could have avoided some of the most popular complaints about this bag. This should be at the top of the list in the next design. Other features that could have been improved between the two bags are: The “Rambler-ready SideHustle pockets” in the 27L. 22L has a stretch pocket on one side and the other side accesses the rest of the bag. There are two issues here. First, the side-hustle openings on the 22L are not big enough to access the main compartment duffel-style anyway (unlike on the 27L). Second, the 22L is a bag small enough that access to contents in the main compartment from the top is easy enough to not need a side access pocket (unlike the 27L). This just makes organizing the 22L that much more difficult. If anything, the 22L should have had the stretch mesh on both sides and the 27L should have one side access the main compartment. The interior pockets. The 27L has three, the 22L has one. There’s space for it below the one present. More organization in the “Flip-Top Vault pocket”. Maybe a zip section for cables or maybe split it into two pockets. The (relatively) small outer zip of the Vault pocket makes it cumbersome to access the contents when fully-loaded. Plus a full Vault pocket makes the bag top heavy. The pocket being so big causes more problems than it solves. The “360º padded laptop vault” in the 22L has two sections, one for a laptop and a smaller one for a notebook, tablet, etc. This should be in the 27L. The comfort of the 22L surpasses 27L but is by no means comfortable. Yeti mentions the no-pressure back panel that “sweeps away from the lumbar”, but there’s no such feature in either bag. In fact, the 27L digs into my lumbar like I’ve never felt in a bag. The 22L wants to but it’s short enough that it sits above my lumbar. This is one of the biggest complaints people have about the Crossroads backpacks, but I can see how comfort needed to be sacrificed for durability and I’m happy to make that trade-off. Which brings me to what I think is the best thing about these bags, the exterior design and materials. It feels like a bombproof bag that can stand up to any adventure. This is the only reason I’m still even considering these bags with all the missed design opportunities. Other pros: Multiple carry handles Interior water bottle pocket Luggage passthrough Gear loops Weather-resistant zippers

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Material I have bought backpacks before, the material on this one does not seem as put together as the previous one I had. Yet, the overall look is still good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack for road warriors! I travel for work and I'm really hard on backpacks. I usually replace mine twice a year so the investment is worth it as long as it holds up. I do wish it had another small compartment with outside access but so far holding up the yeti rep, this thing is bulletproof!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for daily use I bought this cool backpack, thinking it will work for my job , I work at a hospital , is to big and uncomfortable, will work for little trips or going to the beach.. everything is perfect, except the size .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs more pockets For the price I would say it’s not worth it. You only have one pocket to store small things, I would like to keep my sunglasses away from my keys and usb driver as an example. Definitely not made for a network admin but I guess I am stuck with it
