COOKIE POLICY

This Policy explains how YETI Coolers LLC (“YETI”, “we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies and other tracking technologies to provide functionality and enhance user experience for people (“you”, “visitors” or “users”) who visit our yeti.com websites (“Site” or “Sites”).

This Policy is also intended to act as YETI’s Third-Party Inventory where such parties are engaged in targeted advertising or “sales”/”sharing” activities (as such terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and other US state privacy laws) through placement of cookies and other tracking technologies on our Sites. Such third parties may be identified in our Cookies List (Section 5) below. Any additional, specific third parties with whom we “share” or “sell” personal information outside of cookies and other tracking technology activities shall be provided at time of request and may not be included in the list on this page.

  1. COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are files that are placed on your computer or mobile or handheld device (such as smartphones or tablets) when you visit certain pages on the internet or use certain mobile applications. They can be used to “remember” when your computer or device access our Sites. Cookies are stored in your browser. The cookie will help our Sites, or another website, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Most cookies won’t collect information like a name or email address that directly identifies you as a person and will instead be used in efforts such as collecting more general information such as how visitors arrive at and use a Site. Cookies may, however, be used to create a profile of a visitor's activities on the Internet, and they can contain unique identifiers or any form of personal information.

Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your device, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs, or pixel tags), in connection with our Site and with cookies to, among other things, track the activities of Site visitors, help us manage content, compile statistics about Site usage (including clicks and cursor movements), and engage in targeted advertising. We and our third-parties also use clear GIFs in HTML emails we send, to help us with things like tracking email response rates, identifying when our emails are viewed, tracking whether our emails are forwarded, and customizing email or Site content.

OneTrust Cookie Banner/Preference

When you visit the Site, a pop up will appear to inform you about our use of the cookies on our Site. Although most browsers and devices in the US accept cookies by default, you can manage your preference by clicking “Cookies Settings” to open the One Trust Privacy Preference Center to choose the types of cookies you allow. When you enter the Privacy Center, all cookie categories (including Strictly Necessary Cookies – which are always active), will be turned on by default, unless you have a legally recognized opt-out preference signal enabled (see more below). You can turn off or reject each category of cookie (except Strictly Necessary Cookies) individually or reject all by selecting the “Reject All” button.

If you accept cookies, this will allow us to track your browsing in accordance with the purpose of each cookie or similar technology. If you refuse cookies, we will not set those cookies on your device, except strictly necessary cookies and a cookie to remember that you don't want any cookies set when you visit the Site.

Opt-Out Preference Signals

Your browser may also offer a way to activate a legally accepted opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control signal (“GPC”). Our websites treat qualifying browsers for which the user has activated an opt-out preference signal as having opted out of what the CCPA and other US privacy laws call “sales” / “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising”, that is collected on our Site by Targeting and Social Media Cookies and other tracking technology. You can override that treatment for a GPC-enabled browser by using the cookie controls available from the website’s footer, or by disabling GPC in your browser and clearing your cookies. Consult https://globalprivacycontrol.org for more information.
