Pourover Recipe - Nowhere Coffee
15g of coffee + 250g of water for an 8oz cup of brewed coffee.
Total brew time: 3 - 3 1/2 minutes
Step 1: Set up your Pourover
Place the YETI™ Pourover on top of your preferred Rambler® Drinkware. We recommend at least a 10oz. Tumbler or Mug. Fold the tabbed edge of the filter and insert it into your Pourover.
Step 2: Heat the water
Heat to just below boiling — about 202°F / 94.5°C.
Step 3: Rinse the filter
Rinse the filter with your hot water, and discard the rinse water from your cup.
Step 4: Grind coffee beans
Grind 15g of coffee beans to a medium grind and add to the filter.
Step 5: Bloom the coffee
Start a timer. Slowly pour 30g of water in a circular motion, making sure all of the coffee is wet. Let it bloom for 45 seconds and let the timer keep going.
Step 6: Pour water into two phases
Phase 1 - Pour while stirring the grounds until you reach 150g of water.
Phase 2 - Pour a little slower and more gently, aiming to reach the total brew weight (250g) in the next 30 seconds.
Step 7: Stir coffee
Give the soaked grounds a small stir in one direction and again in the other direction to release any grounds.
Step 8: Serve & enjoy
Once the coffee has fully brewed, remove the Pourover from your Tumbler or Mug and enjoy.
It all depends on how much you want to drink and how big your cup is. We recommend brewing a maximum of 20 oz.
