Disappointing quality control
The right strap is a lot more loose than the left strap. Upon inspection I found it’s because the cut out is larger on one side vs the other. Very upset given the cost of this product.

Overpriced for what it is
I bought this cooler 2 years ago, the thing was great at first and I had no complaints. I’m a mobile welder that works off a truck so a cooler for drinks is a must, especially during the summer. The cooler has been strapped on a flatbed since day 1. The lid has warped so bad from being in the sun it won’t hold ice for more than a few hours. With a name that everyone knows, being “wildly stronger” and how much these cost, you’d think they would last a bit longer.

Lower quality of mold?
Cooler works great as expected but seems their mold quality has gone down. First was replaced due to shipping damage but both had lots of sharp edges and pieces sticking out along the seams. Friend also got the same one and same on his. Our older tundras had nice smooth clean lines.

I was skeptical at first but if you pay attention on how to maximize ice retention, you'll be happy you bought a Yeti. My Tundra 45 held ice for 6 days (Ice Water after 5) in 80+ degree weather. Even after the ice ice melted and it was water, everything stayed ice cold. Then after I drained the water, everything stayed iced cold. On Day 12 there was a couple cans in the cooler, still cold, not ice cold but I was blown away regardless. Gonna get a lot of good use out of this thing. Gonna grab a Roadie 24 too!

I bought this cooler a week ago, left in my hot car for a week. Tossed two small bags of ice in it at 6:30am just to start getting it cold and prepared for food and drinks. 10.5 hours later in 95 degree heat, baking in a dark colored, hot as can be car and the ice was still there! Slightly melted so I tossed another small bag in just bc. But woah, man, just woah. My first experience with a yeti and I'm thoroughly happy about this thing. Friggin pumped to use and abuse this cooler long term. I did buy the non slip thing that sticks on the top so I don't do an unintended flip while standing on it. Definitely recommend. I've seen some things. But buy the cooler. Fits nicely in the back of a Subaru outback btw. Even long was across the back.
