Daytrip® Lunch Bag

Is there a warranty on the Daytrip® Lunch Bag?

The YETI Daytrip® Lunch Bag comes with a three year warranty. For more information, please visit our Warranty Information page.

How do I clean my Daytrip® Lunch Bag?

After use (and as needed), just clean it up with a rag and a simple mix of mild dish soap and warm water. If there’s a stubborn stain, go ahead and hose it down — it can handle the pressure.

By the way, after cleaning or when not in use, we recommend storing your Daytrip® Lunch Bag in the un-folded position. Also, don’t run it through the dishwasher, washing machine, or dryer, and don’t even think about drying it in the oven or using bleach on it. All bad ideas.

Can I fold up my empty Daytrip® Lunch Bag for transport?

Absolutely. Once dining is done, follow these four easy folding steps to save precious cargo space.

Step 1

Start with an empty lunch bag in the open and upright position.

Step 1

Step 2

Snap the internal magnetic closure shut.

Step 2

Step 3

Lay the lunch bag flat and fold it twice from the bottom.

Step 3

Step 4

Loop the hook into the Adjustable Grid to keep it compact. The end.

Step 4

Can I use regular ice with this lunch bag or is YETI ICE® going to get me better results?

We recommend YETI ICE® 1 lb or 2 lb as an ice substitute. When combined with the cold-holding power of the Daytrip® Lunch Bag, your food and drinks are sure to stay colder longer. For maximum performance, we always recommend pre-chilling the lunch bag and its contents in the fridge beforehand.

NOTE: Though the lunch bag’s liner is leakproof and will handle regular ice just fine (when upright), the top magnetic closure is not leakproof, and YETI ICE® helps prevent messy (or icy) cleanups.

Is the Daytrip® Lunch Bag waterproof?

It has a water-resistant exterior that will keep your contents dry through splashes, drizzles, or in the path of a spilled drink.

Why is there condensation on my lunch bag?

If the inside of the lunch bag is colder than the air surrounding the outside of the lunch bag (e.g. if you’re in a humid place) there’s a higher possibility you will experience condensation—but there’s no reason to worry. It’s just the way nature works.

What are all these loops on the front of the Daytrip® Lunch Bag?

That’s the Adjustable Grid which allows you to adjust the size of your lunch bag so you can pack as much or a little as you need with minimal air space–the enemy of thermal performance.

What are the dimensions of the YETI Daytrip® Lunch Bag?

Folded, the Daytrip® Lunch Bag measures 5 3/4” × 8 3/4” × 8 3/4”. Unfolded, it comes in at 5 3/4” × 13 1/2” × 8 3/4”. Simply put, the Daytrip® Lunch Bag neatly fits a six-pack of tall boys.
