Awful
This item leaks TERRIBLE. You also have to cut the straw yourself which I find odd. I don't suggest this at all which is sad because I have a ton of Yeti products I love. This is just a miss.

Good but...
I got this lid for my birthday and I love it, but every now and the when I go to take a sip, water shoots out from the straw.

The new straw lid is awesome.
I haven't seen a review explaining that Yeti updated this lid so here it is. I have previously left a bad review in this lid because it would squirt water all over me. Traveling from high to low elevations, water would flood my cup holder. On a hot day, water would flood my cup holder. This new lid has a better gasket and doesn't have this problem so far! Also much quieter. The last lid made a squeal when I would drink it, making it difficult to use during lectures or in the deer blind. New lid is quiet. Highly recommend it!

Well Engineered Caps
Perfect for my son at school, gives him quick access and little chance of spills. Feels very durable and, as an unexpected bonus, when you hang the bottle from your fingers it's perfectly balanced making the bottle feel lighter. I can hook two full bottles with one hand and easily carry them.

Everyone needs this!
Absolutely love it! Doesn't leak and is easy to carry around. Lets me drink easily from the bottle.
