Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would Take Into Battle! YETI has once AGAIN...Done it AGAIN. I thought I had a killer bag to take on missions with me, but then I thought to give the PANGA 50 a try due to its overall toughness and spec. Where I am it can rain a ton and for long periods of time, never once did I worry about the important kit I would carry on missions getting wet or trashed with hydraulic fluid or any other type of nastiness that could leak from a plane. And I never have to worry about puncturing the walls. Had a scare once when I fell up against some sharp edges, and thought, I bet you I just put a hole in this thing...NOPE! The bag was better off than I was after the fall. Great Job YETI! Keep it up. Love having the PANGA50 as my new "Bug Out/BINGO Bag."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from definitely a tough bag Overall happy with the product. If I could make one improvement to the bag it would be to make the zipper opening a U-shape to access to the interior of the bag a whole lot easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panga for Adventure I use my gear, and I expect it to hold up and live to those expectations, but I also push there limits. This Panga 50 is the perfect travel to your adventure destination carry on bag to date. Even if you did check it - it will take the abuse of any airline, bush pilot, water taxi, mule train or whatever your means of travel is, the Panga can handle it. From being used as a carry-on for air travel, thrown into the back of my pickup to hanging out in the openness of my drift boat and the hatches of my skiff or drug thru the jungles of S. America - This is an Amazing Waterproof, Durable Backpack/Bag for those adventures (and Many More). From everyday use to those 3-5 day trips - Perfect! (the bag is Solid)! I Fly Fish and travel a bunch. From being on the River to on my boats and thru the woods or jungles this bag will keep your gear (clothing, camera, gear & misc items) dry and protected from the elements. FYI - It also doubles as a nice pillow for those lovely layovers/cancellations and back country expeditions. Don't think about whether or not to get a Panga Anymore - No more thinking "Should I" - "Maybe 1 more review" - Your Wait is Over - Do It! You will LOVE it! As Far as the Fly Rod Tube Straps on either side - Yes they do Work - As long as you don't overfill your bag for those longer adventures - As Rod companies are not all created equal in there tube sizes, I Would like to see a leash type setup (adjustable) to aid in keeping them from slipping/moving. Just something to keep them in place and secure (worry-free).I have not had it happen "yet" but I don't want to cross a river and have a rod go sailing away or have it pop out in Airport Baggage Transportation (Checked Bag). That would Not be Cool. It doesn't have to be a long leash or something to get snagged on - just something that can connect to the bag's existing area to the rod tube - minimalist to prevent catching/snagging, but adjustable and secure for the rod tube. I have also been using a climbing Quickdraw to hang my Ramblers off the pack for easy access when hiking or when I am on the flats and rivers fishing - the carabiners at each end aid in quick disconnect - maybe have an accessory like the flat square attachment you have for the strap in similar fashion in the future and incorporate a bottle opener into the carabiner for the rambler end (hint-hint)?? For those longer expeditions a waist and chest strap would be nice - maybe that is a different "style" that could be selected or added on later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built to last ages for all ages! I have purchased several Yeti products and they have all been of the highest quality and built to last. I purchased two Panga 50 for my grandsons who live in Oregon and frequent the beach numerous times a year. I wanted to start they off with their own Yeti's and they have already put them through the paces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOAT ! "Greatest of all time" I have the Panga 75 and the Panga 50. My wife and I fill them up and throw them in the back of the truck. They are indestructible. We are very careful that they don't get stolen. We absolutely love them. I was surprised how comfortable they are as back packs...for short hikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bag for all adventures I bought this bag bc I am a hard user of most products. Meaning I beat stuff up. I also bought the bag to double as a camera bag (I put padded inserts or smaller camera bags within) and can also still fit clothes etc. i am constantly traveling for my work as a photographer. I like backpacks but most aren’t weather protective or durable enough for me. Now I have no fear traveling anywhere with my yeti. Not only that everywhere I go people stop and ask me about the bag. It’s not only functional and tough but looks super fresh.
