Keeps it safe
Big time yeti guy. 17 years old so I don't have big bills so I have bought a couple yeti ramblers, couple water bottles. 2 yeti can insulators, and a Tundra 35. Keeps it safe and reliable so far but unfortunately it started rusting after 1 week of being in the bed of my truck and after another week, the plastic cover came off. Right now it is just the medal lock with no casing. Great product other than that but wish I would have known before spending this much on it.

Theft deterrent
Drove Mn to Utah elk hunting and kept cooler cablelocked to my hitch. Even if only theft deterrent, mission accomplished.

Locks more than just the cooler!
Works great for Yeti coolers with locking bracket, but also works for so much more, like locking my kayak to the roof rack because the cable end is small enough to fit through the deck loops.

This lock is easy to use an gives you good protection from theft . Keep in mind that a thief can still anything when they prepare to. Keep in mind this would stop anyone from walking up an trying to take it with out tools like bolt cutters or something.

Frustrating to use. The key is tiny and doesn’t always go in, even when you have it the right way. The main lock feels cheap as well. Should use a combo.

The Problem With Camping
The product itself is fine and does what it’s supposed to. Unfortunately camping is a golden opportunity for regular thieves and offers plenty of opportunities for snooping eyes. This chain won’t stop your cooler being stolen, if someone wants it they’ll cut the cord and take it regardless. Hopefully some will just move on if they don’t have the right tool to get it, sadly that wasn’t the case for me....
Don’t buy it. Save your money and find a better place to hide your cooler.
