Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice addition Works well. Don't need it all the time but nice to know it's there. Maybe a metal option for the next gen? Seems sturdy but it's plastic so it worries me slightly. I'd still buy another for my next yeti

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very fragile Upon screwing the plug into the cooler it broke with hardly any pressure being applied. Will have to purchase another!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as Expected Had to make a trip to Home Depot to add a valve. You need to design this product with a valve.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great idea, but threads are weak... I just purchased my second drain plug hose connection since my last one was leaking. I noticed the first one seemed cross threaded on the quarter turn valve I screwed on and it was starting to slowly leak. I figured I had banged it against something and knowcked the threads but on the second one I confirmed the threads are really weak and don't line up perfectly with a standard female hose connection. I think the only way to make these really work would be to use metal threads. Or maybe if I used a cheap plastic quarter turn valve, or if yeti just made the valve to hook onto the standard heavy duty drain plug? I'm not buying a third to test it out...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Toughen it up... I am having to purchase my third Drain Plug Hose Connection. These things are brittle plastic. The concept is excellent, but the materials are weak. Silicone, rubber, stainless steel, but not brittle plastic. I will continue using Yeti coolers, and buying these connections, but I resent that the thought that went into the coolers, wasn't carried over to the simplest accessory.
